About our Professors

The faculty constitutes the heart of any university. Unfortunately, at many institutions it is common to find undergraduate classes, particularly those at the introductory level, taught by graduate students. This is never the case at Kutztown University. From your first freshman foundation courses through the most advanced studios, you will always be working directly with experienced and accomplished professionals. Our studio faculty members are widely recognized in their chosen disciplines. Their artwork is included in prestigious national and international collections, including The Guggenheim Museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Washington's Corcoran Gallery and The Hirschorn Museum. Many of our faculty members regularly exhibit their work in both galleries and museums nationally. They have been honored with numerous awards and fellowships from private foundations, state arts councils, and The National Endowment for the Arts. Our faculty is our strength.
