I went out to photograph four sides of a tobacco barn, created slides of the images, and then projected them on large pieces of paper. (4 projectors, 4 slides, 4 sides of paper)
The piece was contextualized when I had multiple people draw on the inside structure. The notes consisted of quotes, phone numbers, band names, -more or less what we know as graffiti.
This act of graffiti directly relates to my experience with photographing the interior of abandoned houses in North Carolina. The Memory House harbors these thoughts/possessions/language on its interior, and is only visible from its interior.
