This piece consists of twelve hundred magazine pages that were rolled-up to hide, disable, and fragment the viewers' relationship with the advertising media found on nearly every page. A light box was used near the far right corner of the installation containing a photograph of David Copperfield, the magician. I use him in the work as a metaphor to personify the lure/seduction of advertising media.
